A native New Orleanian, Ann Morris now resides in a rural community on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain. Her lifetime passion for writing is followed closely by her love of art, and when her fingers aren’t at the keyboard, they can usually be found curled around a paint brush. Her formal education is in Anthropology and Women’s Studies and she strives to reflect the fundamental truths of both disciplines in her writing. *

* A note about the lady in red painting in the background: Ann briefly went through a 'red' phase (we are still waiting for it to end). In her search for red subjects to paint, she came across a picture in a book that deals with the color red. Her "Lady in Red" was one of several she found in that book that she wanted to paint.
